In this Friday folder you will see a spelling sheet with all different kinds of activities on it. Your child will need to pick one of those activities each week to complete with their spelling words. This will be part of their homework and will need to be turned in with the rest of the homework packet. The spelling activity sheet should stay at home and be on hand for the next week’s spelling words. Don’t lose it!
Victory Drill and Math Flash: starting Monday we will begin testing for Victory Drill and Math Flash. Your child’s Victory Drill folder has been sent home in the Friday Homework envelope. We will be testing everyday but Wednesday. Thank you so much for your willingness to lend a helping hand, I can use all the help I can get! Please stop by and join in the chaos! As soon as I find my volunteer list I will be sending you all an email.
Friendship paragraph and speech: I am sending home a rubric on your child’s speech that they will be giving on Friday, September 14th. They have done an interview, written a rough and final draft of their friendship paragraph and now they are going to give a speech introducing their friend. Their speech will be taken directly from their interview and paragraph. Please work with them over the week. Celia and I will work with them as well in class. Thanks for the support.
